Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP)
The Government of Canada offers incentives through the Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP) to help Canadians purchase or lease eligible zero-emission vehicles.
Eligible incentives include:
⚡ Up to $5,000 for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) or Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles
⚡ Up to $2,500 for Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs)
The rebate is typically applied directly at the dealership at the time of purchase or lease, reducing the upfront price of the vehicle.
